Facilities and Professional Equipment:
Central Career School is centrally located in the heart of Middlesex
County, occupying a building which was specifically designed for
the school and contains classrooms, lab rooms, lounge area and
administrative offices. The school is located near Routes 1, 22,
27, 28, 287, the Garden State Parkway, and the N.J. Turnpike.
The school is readily accessible by public or private transportation,
and is near all major highways. Parking is available on premises
for students with cars. The entire school is barrier-free, and
in full compliance with ADA requirements. The school equipment
includes the latest computer, office, and lab equipment with more
than sixty (60) computers, printers, and other peripheral equipment.
The Dental Assisting classroom/lab is equipped with the most modern
dental office and laboratory equipment including dental chair,
x-ray unit and dark room, lab area, dental and CPR manikins, and
all necessary dental instruments.
Faculty and Staff:
Central Career School has an administrative and instructional
staff of professional career educators. There are instructor specialists
in each of the programs including Computer Applications, Medical
Billing and Office Specialist, Dental Assisting, and Business
skills (keyboarding, review courses). The staff of the school
averages more than ten years experience in career education, and
are certified, professional instructors.
Methods of Instruction:
Every program includes classroom lectures and demonstrations combined
with laboratory practice adjusted to the individual learning level
of each student. Central Career School’s policies apply the latest
technology to the learning process, with instructor’s maintaining
a small student-teacher ratio, which presently averages 12 students,
for optimal learning and individual instruction, as appropriate.
